No fuss. My package arrived safely in South Africa, without any problems. Tracking was available all the time. Only real problem I had was South Africa's customs overcharged me on taxes for my own personal and used goods. Not the couriers' fault though. I will prepare my second box soon.

I was very disappointed in the time it took for the packages to arrive at their destination but most importantly by not knowing how much the "Custom Clearances" would cost - I have had several disappointed / angry complaints from customers who received notification that their packages would not be released until they paid for customs (they and I had wrongly assumed that these costs were included in the shipping charge) - I've never had this before and had to "make good" (cover the costs myself) in several cases - costs that I never had to lay out before - I would not use them again

Sorry for that issue. Parcel Monkey uses a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) system for international shipping, meaning the recipient is responsible for paying any customs duties and taxes. The sender must provide accurate details of the package contents and recipient contact information to facilitate customs clearance. If the recipient doesn't pay, the sender may be liable.
